Happy 4th of July everyone. I pray you have a safe and sane holiday. Thank you to all who are currently serving in our nation's military. Thank you to the veterans who are disabled because they stood for this country. Thank you to those who lost their lives defending and making this country what it is today.
Thank you especially to my husband, Stan Shiderly, who is a disabled veteran who struggles every day yet manages to be a great and supportive husband!
And to my father, also a disabled veteran Lester Lee Hansley Jr., who passed this past March.
As the wife and daughter of a veteran, I want to say thank you as well to the wives and families of our servicemembers and veterans. I know intimately the struggle we also go through as the children and spouses of these men and women.
