A couple of new releases. Forbidden Taste and Punishing Little Honor. Both are part of a series but they can be read as standalone.

Forbidden Taste

Jericho: As the man of the house, I tried to do the honorable thing. I really did. I told myself she was too young. Too innocent. And I was a dirty old man for even looking. I was able to refuse, but a man can only take so much temptation before he has to have a taste of the forbidden...

Rose: I tried seducing him. I paraded myself around him in short shorts and bikinis. As the man of the house, he's forbidden to me according to the rules, but I don't care. He's honorable and refuses my innocence until danger comes to call and I almost died...

Punishing Little Honor

Honor: I've wanted him forever, but I'm too shy to make a move. Besides, I'm certain no-one will ever want me when they discover my secret.

Razor: I'm well aware of Honor's secret. She thinks to lie to me about it, I'll teach her a lesson about lying and then I'll make her mine.

Contains very light elements of ageplay, including diapering.

Happy Endings

I'm an author. I write romance. Why? Because I love romance novels. When I read a romance (because I love romance novels) I expect at least one thing. All I want when I get to the end of a book is for the couple/s to be together. When that doesn't happen, I get a bit upset. As in, throwing my kindle against the wall upset. I swear, every book I read now by an author I'm not familiar with, I'll be flipping to the last page to be sure the hero and heroine are together and alive before I invest hours of my time getting to know them. Ugh.

True Control (True, #4.2)True Control by Willow Madison
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

True Control is 5 controlled stars!

I am not sure how the author has done it, but she pulled this book off in a big way. This book shows the sheer breadth of this authors talent. I stand in awe of such tremendous talent.

This is one of those books I really don't want to spoil for anyone because what happens within those pages is a journey each person should travel themselves with no interference. Yep, it's that good.

In the effort not to spoil, I will tell you I read midway and had to put my Kindle down because I was sobbing like a baby. My husband still gives me odd looks, haha. My heart broke reading this book. It shattered but then it mended again. I knew joy and peace once again by the end of this book.

If you haven't read the books, start with book 1 of this series, True Nature. True Nature (True, #1) by Willow Madison You truly will not regret reading this series. Willow Madison is an author with heart and soul and she pours those qualities into her writing, making this book a breathing, living thing that grabs you by the throat.

This story has an HEA though it is not the HEA you might expect. I do promise you won't leave this book heartbroken, the author takes care of your emotions and leaves you smiling at the end.

In the end... I love my Max still, always will, but now I have to add that I also love Jake. I'm such a book slut. haha.

Accepting His ProposalAccepting His Proposal by Willow S. Brooks
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Review to be more elaborate when I've had time to wrap my head around how this book made me feel.

For now... I had to create a new shelf for this book called huge man parts. I gladly created that shelf because this book... wowsa, did it deliver in a very, very, very good way.

Thanks WillowB!

I had a lot recommendations for this book by WillowM and finally got around to it and I must say, it's one I'll be coming back to again and again and ah, ahem, bookmarking to read ahem, certain parts.

Willow Madison and True Choices! 5 Bleeping Stars!

True Choices (True, #3)True Choices by Willow Madison
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Another winner from Willow Madison. 5 bleeping stars!

In this book, the third in the series, we see Lucy punished more and become even more immersed in the life that Max offers her. I feel bad for Lucy at times but ultimately, she is where she wants to be. It’s as simple as that. And I want her to stay with Max, too, cuz I love me some Max!

This isn’t a sweet book but it had its moments. I could feel that Max adored Lucy, I really could even though he was a right bastid. What is it about Max that I both love and hate? I feel horrible for him because I think he has a darkness inside him that consumes him at times. He is so controlling, I can’t help but think maybe with therapy, he could still be the dominant Alpha but a much more at peace dominant Alpha.

But this book isn’t about the way Max would be with therapy. It’s about Max as he is and it offers an intimate look into the mind of a man who carries darkness within like a shroud. I can’t help but think he’s going to go off the rails one day and truly hurt Lucy even though he doesn’t want to hurt her. His control is only as good as his ability to leash his darkness.

This isn’t a book that you’ll close and skip away never to think about it again or if you do, its with a fondness that has you smiling. No, this book will rip your guts out and put them in a pretty box. This is a book that will have you squirming but for all the ‘right’ reasons, haha. This is a book that will haunt your memory for years to come because it’s just that good.

I would say this book is a romance but it’s a very dark romance between two people, both of whom are in love with the other, but that love may not be healthy. For pure reading pleasure, I adore this series. I adore Max. I want to hug him and get him into therapy, but I still love him.

And that is the mark of a great author, in my opinion.
